About the Author

Jeimy J. Cano received his B.S. and M.Sc. in systems and computer science from Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, D.C – COLOMBIA in 1996 and 1997 respectively. Later in 2000 received his Ph.D in Business Administration from Newport University, California – USA. He is an International Tutor at Newport University, Colombia Branch. Since 1995 he is part time professor at Engineering Faculty in Computer and System Science Department and Law Faculty at Universidad de los Andes. He also belongs to international research groups like Cryptology and Information Security Iberoamerican Network –in Spanish CriptoRED- and Computer Law International Community – in Spanish Alfa-REDI-. In last years, he has published for national and international conferences and magazines. Likewise, he has been involved in consulting activities and contributed to the diffusion of Systems Science in COLOMBIA. His current research interest are mainly in systems science applied to MIS, management cybernetics, and computer and information security.
