About the Author DAVE TAYLOR has been involved with the development of the Internet and Web for more than 20 years. The author of the international bestseller Creating Cool HTML 4 Web Pages, he's also written three other books of note: Teach Yourself Unix in 24 Hours, The eAuction Insider, and Global Software. Dave also worked as a research scientist at Hewlett-Packard's Palo Alto R&D Laboratory and founded three different startups: The Internet Mall, iTrack.com, and Growing Ventures, Inc. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a master's degree in Educational Computing, and is working on a distance-learning MBA.
