This book includes Volume I of the proceedings of the 2007 International Conference on Systems,
Computing Sciences and Software Engineering (SCSS). SCSS is part of the International Joint Conferences
on Computer, Information, and Systems Sciences, and Engineering (CISSE 07). The proceedings are a set
of rigorously reviewed world-class manuscripts presenting the state of international practice in Innovations
and Advanced Techniques in Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering.
SCSS 07 was a high-caliber research conference that was conducted online. CISSE 07 received 750 paper
submissions and the final program included 406 accepted papers from more than 80 countries, representing
the six continents. Each paper received at least two reviews, and authors were required to address review
comments prior to presentation and publication.
Advances in Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering includes a set of rigorously reviewed world-class manuscripts addressing and detailing state-of-the-art research projects in the areas of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Systems Engineering and Sciences.
