This book is intended to give students at the advanced undergraduate or introductory
graduate level, and researchers in computer vision, robotics and computer
graphics, a self-contained introduction to the geometry of three-dimensional (3-
D) vision. This is the study of the reconstruction of 3-D models of objects from
a collection of 2-D images. An essential prerequisite for this book is a course
in linear algebra at the advanced undergraduate level. Background knowledge
in rigid-body motion, estimation and optimization will certainly improve the
reader's appreciation of the material but is not critical since the first few chapters
and the appendices provide a review and summary of basic notions and results on
these topics.
This book introduces the geometry of 3-D vision, that is, the reconstruction of 3-D models of objects from a collection of 2-D images. It details the classic theory of two view geometry and shows that a more proper tool for studying the geometry of multiple views is the so-called rank consideration of the multiple view matrix. It also develops practical reconstruction algorithms and discusses possible extensions of the theory. |

Make It So
This book has accomplished a feat that’s valuable and rare: it comprehends
design and science fiction. Better yet, it’s found specific areas where they are
of practical use to one another.
This is a design book, and meant for designers. It concerns itself with
science fiction cinema. To my delight, it... | | Mobile Web DevelopmentThis complete, practical guide to writing mobile websites and applications shows developers how to build a powerful mobile web presence. Readers need knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a server-side language; the examples use PHP, but are easily adapted to other languages. The book does not use J2ME, but uses mobiles' web browsers and other... | | Professional ASP.NET MVC 3 (Wrox Programmer to Programmer)
IT’S A GREAT TIME to be an ASP.NET developer!
Whether you’ve been developing with ASP.NET for years, or are just getting started, now is a great
time to dig into ASP.NET MVC 3. ASP.NET MVC has been a lot of fun to work with from the
start, but with features like the new Razor view engine, integration with the NuGet... |
