We are delighted to present the proceedings of the 2010 International Conference
on Parallel and Distributed Computing and Networks (PDCN 2010) held in
Chongqing, China, during 13–14 December, 2010. The objective of PDCN is to
provide a forum for researchers, educators, engineers, and government officials
involved in the general areas of parallel and distributed computing and networks
to disseminate their latest research results and exchange views on the future
research directions of these fields.
This year, PDCN 2010 invited high-quality recent research results in the areas
of parallel and distributed computing and networks. The conference provided
an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest
issues and progress in the area. Furthermore, we expect that the conference
and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology
improvements in this important subject.
PDCN 2010 included presentations of contributed papers and state-of-the-art
lectures by invited keynote speakers. The conference brought together leading
researchers, engineers and scientists from around the world. We would like to
thank the Program Chairs, organization staff, and the members of the Program
Committees for their hard work. Special thanks go to Springer.
We belive that PDCN 2010 was successful and enjoyable. We look forward
to seeing all of you next year at PDCN 2011.
